Meanings

The verses for the color meaning have a very weak relation to some of them ... Marc3 (talk) 06:40, 12 April 2018 (EDT) Is there a source/bible verses for the meaning of the different covers? Marc3 (talk) 12:50, 13 April 2018 (EDT)

Are you asking about #3b? I am not sure if there are Bible verses to back those answers up. I do not know who did the edit, I would have to go into the page history and see who posted those answers. It certainly does make sense to provide supporting documentation! --w126jep (talk) 13:02, 13 April 2018 (EDT)
Yes, I'm talking about #3b and #4 too ... I think a couple colors could mean something else than what is specified there, I'm hesitant to translate it as it is now.
I've never liked the idea of assigning meaning to colors, as it is clearly not an objective exercise. My recommendation is to add alternate possibilities. --Jomegat (talk) 07:58, 14 April 2018 (EDT)
Thanks for the suggestion, I like to-the-point answers but it is not always possible. Just if someone wonders, I checked the page history and this specific answer was provided a long time ago (when this project belonged to wikibooks, I assume) and the contact who did it is not available.
Looks like it was Betsy Colon - she was (is?) an AC in Jaceil's (W126jep's) conference (Ohio). If you wanted a reference for her answers, that might be worth pursuing, but we are always free to change or augment any we disagree with. --Jomegat (talk) 12:39, 15 April 2018 (EDT)
Betsy Colón, I was told, was not part of the conference team a couple of years before I arrived to OH. Although apparently she still resides here. I've never met her. --w126jep (talk) 21:28, 15 April 2018 (EDT)

Translating templates

To translate templates, the whole chunk has to included under one tag. As you may have noticed on #6, unless it is all under one tag, the separated template will come up in the original language (in this case, English). I have never been able to figure it out or why, so I have always left the templates together. If you're able to figure it out, Marc3, please enlighten me! If not, that has been the way that we have gotten around it so it shows up in Spanish. -- w126jep (talk) 15:54, 13 April 2018 (EDT)
