Storing Leftover Product

Step 1: Clean the outside edge of the interior rim of the can with a clean dry rag.

Step 2: Place the lid on top of the can.

Step 3: Place a clean rag over the top of the lid to protect from splattering any leftover product.

Step 4: Using a rubber mallet, gently tap the lid, working around the perimeter until the lid has fully sealed.

Step 5: Store leftover paint or primer in a dry location, avoiding extreme temperatures. (*TIP*: To recycle or properly dispose of product in your community, call 1-800-CLEANUP [U.S. Only])
