Requisitos


1. Definir el término profeta y su papel en la iglesia de Dios.

2. Hacer una lista de los cuatro profetas mayores y doce profetas menores en el Antiguo Testamento.

3. Diferenciar entre los profetas mayores y menores.

4. Nombrar dos profetas del Nuevo Testamento y su papel.

5. Nombrar tres profetisas en el Antiguo Testamento y su papel.

6. Definir el término profecía y su papel en la iglesia de Dios.

7. Leer Apocalipsis 14:12 y 19:10 y discutir cómo la profecía señala al testimonio de Jesús y la salvación.

8. Leer Deuteronomio 18:22, 1 Juan 4:1-3 y Jeremías 23:18-32. Discutir las pruebas de un verdadero profeta.

9. Buscar ejemplos en la Biblia donde el Espíritu del Señor le dio profecía a los no profetas.

10. Estudiar los siguientes relatos bíblicos y determinar si el personaje califica como profeta. Crear una experiencia multimedia explicando por qué llegó a su conclusión.

a. José, Génesis 40 y 41

b. Jonás, el libro de Jonás

c. Balaam, Números 22

d. Daniel, el sueño de Nabucodonosor en Daniel, capítulo 4

e. John, Revelation 21:1-8

11. Discuss in a group the dual prophecy made by Jesus in Matthew 24 which covers both the fall of Jerusalem and the end of time. Create a chart showing how each phrase can apply to each time frame.

12. Give a list of three symbols used in biblical prophecy and give their interpretation.

13. Discuss in a group the Dream of Nebuchadnezzar and Daniel’s interpretation in Daniel chapter 2. Make a model or draw a picture of the image in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. Label what each section represents. Then display your project for a few weeks in order to share with your church what you have learned.

14. Do the following activities:

a. Give a short talk or skit for vespers or prayer meeting (or any appropriate gathering) about one of your favorites prophets.

b. Complete a Bible study on prophecy with a leader in your church.
