This Honor is a component of the Sportsman Master Award.

1. Know the regulations of the FIVB and list the 8 main rules of volleyball.

2. What does the expression "clean game" mean?

3. Define the following terms:

a. Ace

b. Antenna

c. Warm-up

d. Barrier

e. Block

f. Ball of grace

g. Ball in

h. Ball out

i. Double touch

j. Spike

k. Star Trek

l. Setter

m. Libero

n. Starting player

o. Match point

p. Dive

q. Four hits

r. Rally

s. Net

t. Rotation

u. Serve

v. Set

w. Technical timeout

x. Assisted hit

4. Demonstrate and understand the different skills required for each position in volleyball.

5. Demonstrate reasonable skill in the following areasː

a. Grip

b. Serve

c. Pass

d. Set

e. Spike

f. Block

6. Spend at least four hours helping someone less skilled or younger to better their skills in volleyball.

7. Play at least 5 games of volleyball with your family or friends. Play a "clean game" during practices and games.

8. Write a report of one page about a famous volleyball player. Discuss why this person is or isn't a good Christian role model.
